April 2007 - What's Your Diagnosis?

Shadow, a 3 year old male neutered cat, came to us because the owner noticed that he was going to the litter box more than normal. When she would check the litter there would be nothing in it. He had also stopped eating a couple days ago. During the exam the doctor noticed that Shadow was dehydrated and very painful in his belly. Here is what an x-ray of his bladder looked like.
